“It has always been our dream to build a David Reid – Danbuilt home!
From design to finish, Dan, Kylie and their team made the process extremely easy and stress free.
Dan and Kylie spent a lot of time with us at the design and planning stage to make sure this house would suit our needs, our business and our budget. We were grateful for their knowledge on energy conservation and positioning of the house to maximise the sunlight and warmth along with the suggestions and ideas given in design, especially in the colour selection process.
We would like to credit the relaxed, friendly and professional nature of Dan, Kylie and their team, from office staff to the tradies on the job site, nothing was ever a problem or a hassle, always listening to our questions and providing ideas. The team made us and the building of our house feel important, just as if they were building their own home.
Having our own business in the construction industry, we appreciate the attention to detail and dedication to quality. Dan and Kylie were accommodating and worked with us to include the products our business supplies. We love the fact our home is unique, modern and most of all family friendly. It suits our lifestyle and our business.
We love our new home and wouldn’t change a thing! Thankyou David Reid Homes New England for making our dream come true!”

This home packs some punch! Inverell Builders, David Reid Homes New England designed and built this with the goal of the client to have a smaller footprint with passive solar gain. Built on a steeper block, it was designed with a split level between living and bedrooms. A 3 bedroom home with a rumpus area that has great storage. The bathroom sits between the two kids bedrooms and acts more like an ensuite for each room. The bathroom is compact but with its full glass wall in frosted finish in the shower area, it sure has the wow factor. Across the hall is a rumpus room for the kids and a laundry that while not big, has storage on both sides of the room.
The front entry invites you to look further with it’s 2 corner windows either side. The entry takes you into a open living with a convenient office at the front for our clients home based business. A media room acts as a 2nd living when required and leads you to the main bedroom, ensuite and walk in robe.
Glass is an absolute feature in this house with a mix of large fixed panels and louvres, large sliding doors that open up to the gardens. Every room except laundry, rumpus, office, ensuite and walk in robe get the glorious northern sun to keep is cozy in the cooler months. The alfresco was designed to be screened in, which opens up onto the dining area and extends the entertaining area when required.
