“Kylie! Hi! We are LOVING our stunning new home – thank you again so much for helping our dreams come true!” Jason & Amy Riley
This design and construct project began with a number of tricky design requests that resulted in an exceptional family home.
The frontage to the road was north facing. The clients requested that; the frontage be symmetrical in design with a modern homestead style, they wanted privacy from the road in their living and entertaining area and the biggest obstacle with these requests was the final request of making the most of the northern aspect for passive warming.
We achieved all of the above by designing a homestead with a ‘H’ shaped footprint. This allows for privacy at the rear but also allows the sun to penetrate and warm the living areas, the other plus is the bedrooms on the front section get a northern aspect too.
This home consists of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and powder room, an office and a sewing room. The kids enjoy a rumpus room that is open to the living area and a protected courtyard. The kitchen opens onto the dining, living and outdoor alfresco area. A library nook allows for some quiet time off the main bedroom. The laundry with custom joinery has a lovely outlook to the east and the west and makes for a happy place to work!
Gorgeous fittings & fixtures and extensive LED lighting & data cable make this homestead tech savvy!
A lovely private home to soak up the sun and relax.
